HASLET PARKS RE-OPEN FEATURING NEW PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AT GAMMILL PARK

The City of Haslet reopened Haslet Parks to the public on Monday, February 1st and celebrated with a virtual ribbon cutting taped earlier for new playground equipment at Gammill Park. The video can be seen on the city's YouTube channel at  https://youtu.be/oIepHUYBAWI.

The new playground equipment was recommended by the Haslet Parks and Recreation Board and approved by the City Council.  The contract was awarded to We Build Fun of Allen, Texas for a bid price of $185,000.  The new all-inclusive playground equipment is nature-themed, meets all current safety standards and is ADA compliant. Much needed shade structures are also included.

Just a reminder, while using the city's parks and facilities, follow COVID protocols-- hand washing, social distancing, and wearing masks.
