[ARCHIVED] Republic Services Suspends Pickup of All Brush and Bulky Items Effective March 30th
Republic Services Website
Republic Services, Haslet’s waste services provider, has notified the City that effective Monday, March 30, 2020 they will suspend pick up of brush and bulky items from the curb. Republic is suspending these services due to the COVID-19 situation and out of concern for the safety of their employees. There will be neither a bulk waste pickup the first Wednesday of the month nor a brush drop off event this quarter.
Just a reminder that Republic will only pick up items that are bagged or containerized. As of now Republic will still pick up recycling and porch pickup for household hazardous waste. More information on those programs at http://haslet.org/191/Garbage-Recycling . Please contact city staff at 817-439-5931 ext. 102 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org with questions or comments.
