The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook Thursday 12/5/2013:
LIGHT FREEZING RAIN WILL CONTINUE. FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF NORTH TEXAS ON FRIDAY. SIGNIFICANT ICE AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS AND TRAVEL IMPACTS ARE EXPECTED. DUE TO SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES IN THE FORECAST FROM FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...ANY ICE THAT IS ACCUMULATED ON AREA ROADWAYS OR POWER LINES IS LIKELY TO REMAIN IN PLACE THROUGH THE WEEKEND...EXTENDING THE IMPACTS OF ANY WINTRY PRECIPITATION THAT FALLS FROM THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
