  1. Eclipse Viewing Party

    August 21, 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM @ Haslet Public Library

Look at the sun as it is partially eclipsed with us through our special Eclipse Glasses! We have 250 pairs of glasses you can use to look through DIRECTLY at the sun safely. (Never look directly at the sun without them!) We will make replicas of the sun (out of cookies!) and learn about the sun's surface: we will also learn about the size of the sun and the moon and how the eclipse works. The eclipse will be happening from about 11:30 - 2:30 p.m., with the peak at approximately 1:08 p.m.
